Finally.
After some healthy time off that launched me into crypto and Nfts full time, I am finally starting a new chapter in my life.
As always I rush things at the last moment, which is fine to someone who is laid back as I am. Swab (they’re getting longer….), mass in the church (only old people, but this time there was a girl with a pair of beautiful shining eyes), last minute luggage preparation (how will everything fit in the carry on?), last second song upload on Distrokid (Sfiganthem release date the 27th of February!). Just a normal everyday routine.
So why Portugal? Well, I don’t really know. I just wanted to get out of Milan and challenge myself far from my comfort zone. Here is either make it or go on the streets. Which is what I need after these years of pandemic. I grew kinda lazy. In fact, I don’t even know if I was growing or just getting by.
One thing that pushed me to move to Portugal is that here is a crypto tax heaven. Exactly, no taxes on crypto!
I got in the crypto world in October, transfering most of my stocks, bonds and Etfs into this market by the end of November. Returns have been great and since I don’t really know how to file my taxes regarding crypto (and I don’t want to honestly), I moved here to get more serious about it.
So well, here I am. Got on the plane, slept through the flight, got on the light train, arrived at the hostel, had dinner out and now here writing. I missed all this freedom and all this confidence that being on my own gives me.
As I said, now it’s make it or break it. Don’t wanna go back to Italy with my tail between the legs.
Goal? Earn enough to get a Working Holiday Visa for South Korea OR to pay the tuition for a university in San Francisco. We’ll see, but those who know me…. they know I’m kinda crazy and always planning something out of the box.
